Elvis Costello To Make Carnegie Hall Debut June 24, 25

Colin Stutz

Elvis Costello will make his headlining Carnegie Hall debut June 24 and 25 with two solo shows dubbed “The Last Year of My Youth”.

It’s expected Costello may play more than fifty different songs between the two shows, of his own popular catalogue, deep cuts and covers. During his 19-date solo tour in November last year, Costello often gave an announced theme — such as “Love & Deceit”, “Peace & War” and “Vaudeville & Exile” — for each show playing songs that fit therein. Over the tour he played more than 200 different titles, mostly his own.

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at 11am EST on Friday, May 2.

Costello first played Carnegie Hall in 2001, performing “Gimme Some Money” with Spinal Tap:
