Warner Bros. will be making an unprecedented move this Summer when they release an Elvis Costello single a week for four weeks beginning on July 8th.
The four limited edition singles will feature a lead track taken from Elvis’ latest album ‘All This Useless Beauty’ (recorded with The Attractions) along with previously unavailable material. Extra tracks include a specially recorded version of ‘All This Useless Beauty” from Lush, and exclusive remixes from Tricky (“Distorted Angel”) and DJ Food (“Little Atoms”).

CD1 – released July 8th
“Little Atoms” featuring:
“Almost Ideal Eyes” (an out-take from ‘All This Useless Beauty’) and two exclusive live versions of
‘Just About Glad’ (from ‘Brutal Youth’) and
‘Why Can’t A Man Stand Alone’ (from ‘All This Useless Beauty’) from Elvis’ highly successful recent tour of the U.S. with Steve Nieve. Both tracks were recorded live at San Francisco’s legendary Filmore Theatre.
CD2 - released July 15th
"Other End Of The Telescope" featuring ‘Almost Ideal Eyes’ along with
‘Basement Kiss’ (recorded live in Dublin with The Attractions) and the original home demo of
‘Complicated Shadows’ (from ‘All This Useless Beauty’).
CD3 – released July 22nd

The release of the singles coincides with Elvis & The Attractions four consecutive sold-out Friday night shows at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which begins on July 5th. The Monday after each performance will see the release of another Elvis single.
Elvis & The Attractions then go on to make history when they perform the first shows for nearly 18 years to take place at London’s legendary Roundhouse on Chalk Farm Rd, Camden with two dates on Saturday 6th and Saturday 27th July*. His full U.K. dates are:

BBC2 will be broadcasting a very special hour long edition of Later… with Jools Holland on July 7th at 8.00pm. Recorded on June 18th in front of a live studio audience, the show takes in songs from all areas of his 20 year career. The performance includes selections from ‘All This Useless Beauty’ with The Attractions and tracks accompanied by Steve Nieve and The Brodsky Quartet. Many of the songs were also augmented by a seven-piece orchestra.
