When introducing "Jimmie Standing In The Rain" at live shows this year, EC was often to be heard saying that the protagonist in the song was someone who had stolen Jimmie Rodgers' Act.
I do hope that by playing "Sweet Mama Hurry Home" EC is not heading down that same path leading to obscurity and penury.
I think more yodelling would have improved EC's version.
