Hey Bulldog

Can anyone offer the Elvis take on Hey Bulldog?

I believe he played it on the 30 yr anniv tour in 2007.

Thanks!

This can often be found on e.g. SoulSeek with other tracks not commercially available.

The above link is to a 320kps mp3 allegedly from Reno 2007-05-04, and I think it's enjoyable even though I love The Beatles/first set foot in UK in Liverpool.

Heard him play it twice that tour and it was great. EC himself acknowledged the "potential link" to Steve's playing on Stella Hurt when I had the chance to ask him about it

Also played All I've Got to Do regularly during those shows

When they did the live for webcast show at the Ed Sullivan Theatre show EC made a comment that they could get the rights to play a Beatles tune that night and therefore he had to write one himself. If I remember right, they then played the yet to be recorded American Gangster Time.

Boy that was a great show - wonder if it'll ever get a release of some kind

Thanks a lot for the link Charlie, nice to hear but I can't say that Elvis added anything the song which is usually, and indeed EC's own, definition of a good cover - though I'm sure I'd feel differently if I'd been there!
