William Wharton RIP

William Wharton died a couple of days ago.
Many of you may not be familiar with this name, but he was an American writer hugely popular in Poland.
Suffice to say that some of his later books were first published in Polish before being available in English.
Wharton's best known books - and deservedly so - are three novels which were turned into films - "Birdy", "Dad" and "A Midnight Clear".
