Post by BlueChair »

Despite the fact that "North" (the song, at least) was written about Canada, North is not being released here until next tuesday, September 30th. NO FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blue Chair,

At least you have the entire Barenaked Ladies back catalogue to keep you company.

Blue, you're engaged to a Canadian?!?!?!? Does that mean your Midwest lady is available?

It's okay, LTZ. But I was talking about Elvis.

Just thought maybe having a Canadian girlfriend might have moved up the release date there a bit, but apparently not.

I've often thought that song might have actually been written about here while he was still married to Cait. :o

It's just a hunch though. I can't prove it.

I still like the song though. :)

Pooky, I think a handful of songs on WIWC are dedicated to/for Diana, but nobody here has the GUTS to admit it!

That's right, I said it.

Today in Health and Wellness (tell me when you got the sickness) I (formerly) learned about the 5 stages of Intoxication.
I think I'm in stage 2 right now, and all I've had is lots of Mountain Dew!!!

LTZ, get some beer, man!!!

I've thought of WIWC as sort of a transition between Cait and Diana, unoffically.

So I said it, too. Although I think it's pretty obvious. :)

The use of the past tense in "15 Petals" is kind of a tipoff.

Blue,
things could be worse...
for example, you could live in a country where you know IF it North gets here, it will be probably in like 3 months later, at least... I won't even tell you about the price....

Well, I ordered North on amazon.ca and it's on it's way. Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow.

In the meantime, here's an article from today's Toronto Star about North.
