Benazir Bhutto RIP

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Benazir Bhutto RIP

Post by Otis Westinghouse »

It seemed inevitable when her return to Pakistan met with her having a lucky escape a few weeks back, and now it's happened and it's just horribly sad. Respect to her for her bravery and determination to bring about positive change in her country. Her father was killed and her two brothers. Scary stuff. I hope that her work can be continued and this doesn't lead to chaos, military viciousness and increased Al Qaeda action.

It is very real and will happen with increased frequency. She spoke out and was killed. It was just a matter of time. She studied here in the US (Harvard) and that fact is not lost on her executioners.

Charismatic Leader. Probably didn't surround herself with the best of the best, but hell, walk a mile.....
