Board Meet-Up - Atlantic City - New Year's Eve

Post by Who Shot Sam? »

Are any of those planning on attending the New Year's Eve show in Atlantic City interested in getting together before the show for a drink or three?

I know legman will be there, as well as bronxapostle - anyone else? I don't know anything about Atlantic City, other than the fact that they have some rough looking prostitutes (not from personal experience, mind you, but as a result of watching an HBO documentary) and that Trump's ugly mug is plastered all over the place. So choosing a location could be difficult. Any suggestions welcome.

I'll be there (with a crew of eight) and would be happy to meet.

The HOB is at the Showboat casino and my guess is the best option might be at the bar at HOB. If the wind is blowing we certainly won't want to be on the boardwalk

Someone else might know better

Yeah, sure... why not. I could have a full blown party at a family beach house, but it's 30-40 miles south of AC... plenty of space to party and crash.. it would just require a sober driver... yeah, impossible on NYE... Showboat Bar is probably the best place to meet up.

Why not? It's NYE, you're seeing Elvis, and going to gigs tanked up is always thrilling. (Memories of the tequila before the Hammersmith Odeon Feb 2005, etc...)

Isn't that when you lost your camera?

Not my camera, just the memory card with all my family Christmas pictures on. OK, maybe that last tequila was ill-advised. I did get told off by my neighbour at the gig, mostly for phoning my wife and relaying Good Year for the Roses to her!

Just let me know where, and I will be there. I hit the ground in Philly about 3 pm 12/31 and will head straight for AC. My flight leaves Philly at 1 pm on the 1st so I will be there less than 24 hrs.

I don't have any lodging, but I will be in a rented minivan! Meeting for several drinks should work out nicely for me. As the name says, I am open to offers!
Now I'm the invisible man, and you can't see me.

2nd Row Tix for Sale

Post by kilyuradeo »

If anyone is interested I have an extra pair of tickets for the show.

2nd Row, Gold Circle, A couple of seats away from the center aisle.

I paid $300 for the pair and would like to get that back but would consider a lesser offer.
