Pete Thomas -- M.I.A. on Europe EC/AT dates

Post by Dr. Luther »

My apologies if I overlooked an explanation of this previously, but:

Does anyone know why Pete Thomas was not involved in the shows this summer in Europe with Costello/Toussaint?

(I'm assuming prior commitments...)

A Jackshit fan posted something about them having other commitments ( shows in France etc.). Intriguingly , there's a comment on the 'Shits Myspace page along the lines of 'Elvis may not want to talk to you but I will'.

On the other hand, the European shows were very much Toussaint shows so perhaps it was decided to let him pick musicians he was familiar with.

Thank you, John.
Your closing comment makes sense.

(Hope that there is no rift...)

Pete and Davey were touring with Eddy Mitchell at the time of the Elvis/Allen European dates.
