That's the one! Not great quality here, but well worth the giggle. funny thing is I looked for it days before you posted this and didn't find. Useless me. Isn't that some of the most ridiculous air guitar ever? Hard to take your eyes off Nat, though.oily slick wrote:the Torn Otis is talking about that includes Natalie Imbruglia. it's hilarious.

Humphry Ocean was a bass player with Ian Dury in the Kilburn and the High Roads and an art school friend. He also released at least one single for Stiff under the moniker Ocean Humphrey and the Hardy Animals. A quick google reveals he has nine paintings in the National Portait Gallery!Otis Westinghouse wrote:Hysterical! Elvis as Ron Mael crossed with Woody Allen. Who is the Humphrey Ocean nutter?

Oh my goodness. Not seen this since 1984. Note the glasses-free section and Pete's drumming at the end!

I like the guy dancing on the platform wearing the white hot pants/open short jacket ensemble. And no shirt! And white boots! What is this outfit? I knew of no men who dressed like this. Aside from gay male prostitutes, I mean.
It's a radiation vibe I'm groovin' on

Looks like it. I used to live near there and would sometimes walk past when it was being flmed. Never saw no yellow shoes, though, sadly (and that LP always makes me think of Birmingham cos I played it to death there). I love the pointless mics over the drums!John wrote:[I think this was from "Pebble Mill" if memory serves

The guy was the first thing I noticed and it took me back to those horrible days of the 80s. I can safely say that I did not dress like this (so you would not have seen me hanging around on street corners (or wherever it was/is that gay male prostitutes hang out)).
Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?

This is beautiful. If you haven't seen the episode of Extras, it's a shame to see this cold and not the whole episode, but well worth it. They're in a celebrities' bar, Ricky gets into the VIP enclosure, and guess who's in it too...

Video for Damien Rice's 9 Crimes. This made me laugh out loud as it's absurd, but also thrilled me as I love The Red Balloon, on which it is based. This link contains the Channel 4 logo preamble, but also some comments relating to the Red Balloon.

The Grammys has always been a strange little universe unto itself where Olivia Newton John wins over Joni , Elton and Roberta Flak and Lennon gives awards to Art Garfunkle with Andy Williams presiding.
**Im sure Ive posted that before, but I still find it bizzare
