Elvis is Everywhere
OK, I think I know now.... I mean, everything happens for a reason, right?

I may have found myself watching the E! True Hollywood Story about Blossom instead of taking my pre-yoga nap because, in the last few minutes of the show - y'know, the classic "where are they now" part - Mayim Bialik said she met her husband online in an Elvis Costello chatroom.

SHE loves EC. I love EC! Maybe the gods of cable television programming kismet were trying to tell me I should rush to log on and start chatting up some guys about my long history worshipping this musical genius so I can find a kindred spirit and complete my own true Hollywood story.

But then they showed some video footage of her with her husband.

Yeah, should've napped.

She needs to get her story straight.

"When the show ended in 1995, Bialik headed for UCLA, where she got a degree in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies, met her husband Michael Stone in math class, and is completing her doctorate in neuroscience."

Mayim used to be a regular presence at EC's L.A. concerts, but I haven't seen her since the Ackerman Grand Ballroom show in May 2002.

Blossom was a huge show in the U.S. in the 1990s. I guess it didn't make it over the pond.

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Matchmaker, matchmaker...

Elvis is in fact the quintessential matchmaker (although I'm more than a bit horrified that I might actually have something in common with "Blossom").

Bob and I met standing in line for EC's 2002 WIWC Tower Records appearance in Greenwich Village. I got on line at 3 p.m., and he got online at 3:05. We spent the next 4 1/2 hours talking as we waited for Mr. C, and the rest is history. 2 Elvis nuts, sharing the same lifelong obsession.

Married 6/26/04.

Maybe he's got a new career prospect, here: Elvis' Dating Game? Or at the very least he could replace that creepy eHarmony.com guy...

Wow, I've had orange tang, lemon tang and berry tang but I've never had that flavour. It's amazing what comes in powdered form these days

I should add that I am definely not married to Tara Reid. Nor have I enjoyed her Tang, as I lean to Orange Crush.
