Ukulele

Just picked up a ukulele for $60. Any other ukulele players on the board?
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

No, But I had an embarrassing mandolin moment a few weeks ago...

I was checking out a pawn shop in Edinburgh that often has musical instruments in the window, and I saw a scruffy looking mandolin with a tiny hand-written price tag of 1950 on it...knowing nothing about mandolins, I couldn't decide whether it was £19.50, or £195, but I thought it was worth taking the chance of looking slightly stupid if there was a chance of picking up a cheap instrument, so I ventured in and asked the man if it was £19.50 or £195....

I'm sure you've all guessed that it was in fact a vintage 1920's mandolin on sale for £1950...the worst bit was I actually walked in brandishing a £20 note, ready to make him an offer...

Oh well, as we say round these parts, shy bairns get nowt...
