I was at both nights, and enjoyed the second much more than the first.
I think a couple of my photos will be uploaded to http://www.elviscostello.info along with a brief summary of my chat with Elvis after the second show.

Watch this space...

My friend didn't have anything to sign except her mobile phone, but then remembered that she was wearing a backless jumper. The conversation went something like this.

Me: "Hi Elvis, this is your newest fan, and she'd like you to sign her back"
Elvis raises his eyebrows. My friend takes off her jacket.
Paddy: "Good Lord!"
Elvis does his duty and signs my friends back while Paddy looks on. I take the photo.
Elvis to me": "I suppose you're going to ask me to sign your back too?"
I bow and offer my (bald) head for signing.
Elvis: "Get outta here!". He signed my ticket instead.

Storm, you raise the bar. And to think all I brought to him was a couple of albums and my daughter's art project. . . . . .

You crazy guys - that's great! :D

Great setlist and great story.

To veer off topic for a moment... Have any of us figured how we're going to get a copy of the board's tribute record to the man on this tour?

And that hat... did he mug a leprachaun for that?

Hey - maybe this should be our next project.

When Elvis is on his UK tour we should all get parts of our body signed. Imagine his face when about 10 of us from the board all ask him.
Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?

It doesn't work on our home computer at the moment, but can be accessed in the internet cafe down the road. It's happened a few times over the last year. So you're not alone, VonOfterdingen. I've notified John E. and he's just as mystified. It usually fixes itself after a week or 2.

VG, I think it would be more interesting to ask him to sign other people's body parts, as SW did - that's gonna be hard to beat. just don't go all jeffrey dahmer on him.

I don't know about the hat. I can't agree with the majority opinion that he wears hats well.

But I la-la-love that muffler. Betcha it's cashmere.

Thankfully he was back to wearing black suits when he played Tokyo. Can't say I'm too keen on the Prince look.
