Gearing up for tonight's Elvis/Steve show - Toronto!

Post by BlueChair »

Well, in approximately 4 1/2 hours I will be seeing Elvis & Steve with RedShoes here in Toronto.

Hopefully the weather and the fact that Elvis is playing Chicago tomorrow don't make it hard to meet the man.

I'll try to post a setlist when I get home tonight

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Listened to a boot of last October's Amsterdam show this evening, and, if tonight's show is half as good, you're in for a treat. Enjoy.

I ran into Toy Soldier/Scaremonger at the show, and he was eager to be the one to post the setlist. So I'll leave it up to him.. though the Toronto show was long and full of surprises new and old!

RedShoes and I managed to meet up with Elvis after the show. He signed my copy of North and let us have our photo taken with him. Cari forgot her cable at home, so the picture will have to wait until Thursday, when I will definitely post it.

Just like '02 Blue. I was beaten to the punch after the Amphitheatre show and you did it again! Glad you got to meet the man! It was too cold so I figured havin' rapped with him before the gig was cool enough. I was
Toy Soldier/Scaremonger on the old board: now I'm
Toy Soldier-Scaremonger!

I beat you back to the board, but tell the folks what the man played :D

You didn't tell us you talked to him before the show!

Well I don't remember you saying that either...I thought you'd gotten the discs autographed at a previous concert - but very cool. How'd you manage to meet up before the show?

(....so the rest of us can try that next time )

I got unbelievably lucky! I was walkin' down Victoria to the box office where we met and about half a dozen fans were waiting apparently for some time. Literally 30 seconds later Elvis and Steve walked out with Milo after the soundcheck and the Scaremonger was the first to rap with Elvis and get him to sign! 30 seconds later he jumped in the Yukon and was off. Talk about perfect timing! :D
