Just got back from the Brussels concert. Incredible evening. Costello was in great shape, the theatre was sold out, all of them real Costello fans. The crowd received the North songs very well and Costello told us ‘how much this means to him’. He performed the whole North album (in 4 parts). There were no ‘encores’ in the strict sense of the word: at the end of part 1, Steve and Elvis went to the front of the podium, we applauded for an few minutes and then they began for the second part, more than an hour. The whole show lasted almost 3 hours and Elvis and Steve did over 30 songs. I’ve been to more than 10 Elvis-concerts in my (short) live – this really was one of the best. It was interesting to see that the audience knew the songs from North – North is doing very well in our charts. I can’t give you a correct set list, I will give you a list of songs he performed. The order however is not correct:
