I'm off to work!

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Yes, Exile -- "I Wanna Kiss You All Over" is from that, right?

Wow, the Stones played your NYE party?
echos myron like a siren
with endurance like the liberty bell
and he tells you of the dreamers
but he's cracked up like the road
and he'd like to lift us up, but we're a very heavy load

Had three cups of morning-coffee and realized that my Blood & Chocolate thread is five times more popular than my Hamburg review :)

Am reflecting on a fantastic Glenn Tilbrook gig last night. Apart from the Squeeze classics ie Up The Junction, Take Me I'm Yours, Goodbye Girl, Annie Get Your Gun, Labelled With Love, Pulling Mussels From A Shell, Is That Love?, Another Nail In My Heart, Hourglass etc., he did Tempted with an unplugged acoustic guitar and walked out with everybody and sang it in the bar. He also does a lot of less familiar Squeeze songs such as Some Fantastic Place, Electric Trains, Piccadilly as well as solo stuff. He also did Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile acoustically and so much more.

If you get the chance - GO! As the man himself said "I don't like setlists so if there's anything you want to hear or request, shout it out". Two fantastic hours.

Having reflected on Glenn Tilbrook, I am now looking forward to three EC gigs next week and meeting board friends old and new. :D

This may be a habit of his. A year or so back in Newcastle, he took the audience outside & across the road for a sing a long. The dorrmen were not happy, and seemed non plussed how to handle it when he led them all back.

I'm hoping to see Tilbrook in April at a small venue here in Toronto.

Just woke up and am anticipating an hour late arrival at the office.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Woke up, petted my dogs, got some coffee, put Mission of The Crossroad Palms on the headphones and put on a Mr. Show dvd.

Feeling sad that Robert got eliminated instead of the vastly more annoying Wendy. Kara Saun all the way, woo!

Wondering if MBA was anywhere near the location of the plane that crashed into a warehouse in Jersey. Anytime I hear about shit like that, I always think of whatever board member lives there and I hope they are ok.

Yeah, I remember pm'ing you to let you know I was safe or maybe it was you who checked in with me. I also called my parents and a couple of friends to let them know so they wouldn't worry.

No, it wasn't even in Newark! Teterboro? I have no idea where that is. It's kind of funny that they crashed into a Strawberry's warehouse, though.

As do I, MBA. We can only hope that Wendy will suffer a lingering painful elimination next week. Kara Saun for President (of fashion)!

Yesterday I watched the Deer Hunter again. Will be drinking heavily for the next 6 days, as it is Mardi Gras time here in the Big Easy. Please excuse me for all ridiculously drunken posts in advance up through Ash Wednesday.
