In the sense that he is engaging in carnal activity or in the sense that they are possibly one and the same
And why the furore about So Lack's poetry - he said he ain't no poet!

hmm, i see your problem. it was just a random thought. perhaps it was a deep thought.

Then that would have to go in the Deep Thoughts thread, oily, not the Random Thoughts thread.
Oh, wait, we don't have one of those. . . . .hmmmmm. . .

Sometimes the most random thoughts are also the deepest thoughts.

What I guess I meant by that comment is that intuition is just as powerful and real as intellect.

hey i can be deep. i predicted an obama montana a couple weeks ago. and i might be right. a deep thoughts thread might look a lot like a random thoughts thread. heavy.
I'm not concerned about the very poor.

Okay, so I'm listening to radio this morning in the van, and turned on a local talk show. The topic was men and women saying common courtesy phrases to each other in order to improve their relationship. Then, the female host on the talk show said,
"Please and thank you are like the astroglide of an emotional relationship."
Just thought it was funny.

I'd say that "yes honey" and "whatever you want" are the astroglide of an emotional relationship, but each to his own, I suppose.
Oh, and anyone use last.fm? I decided to give it a try and am liking it, and I'm always open to new friends on these things!
Why don't you write about it in your blag ?

What's your handle on last.fm? I'm on there, so are a few others including RedShoes and Blue Chair.

It's good to have someone on my list whose compatibility isn't "Very Low."

Well, ST - and any of you lastfm-ers, we might have compatibility problems, but I am djdj255. I am finding it kind of hard to figure out.

Shot you a friend request, mood. Our compatibility is High, apparently.
It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, although my iPod sometimes decides to get a little difficult with me.

I'm not registered there but I would be interested to know my compatibility with other members of this Board. What's the lowest available rating?

Good lord, that is fantastic, WWS.
Sam, I take it the Miley Cyrus on your last.fm is down to your kids?
I try to remember to switch off 'scrobbling' when listening to potentially embarrassing tunes - late Genesis or Titanic OST for example.
I'm bunny67 if anyone wants to check compatibility.

That's my daughter's doing (I swear)! last.fm launches automatically when I open iTunes.

I've shot you a friend request. This board really has excellent taste: very similar to mine!
Another high compatibility.

I was out on Wednesday night and found a great new term - "smirting".
It's when people are outside of a building smoking and flirting.
I was not outside when the lady I was with told me about it. Nor was I smoking as I am a clean cut healthy living kind of guy.

Nic Harcourt has stepped down as host of Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW. That really sucks.
