No CDs, not sure what you're looking at there. Cup, camera case. He's not too into music, but he did make reference to Elvis Costello being a character in a game the other day.

That's just the 'action' setting on my camera. Actually, they are pretty well behaved. We feel like we're always quelling feuds and struggling to keep things under control, but a couple of people have commented on their good form this weekend, so there may be something in it. Thanks for nice comments. Don't get too misty, now. And Chili's does a roaring trade here - very much shoulder to shoulder, no hate involved.

Actually, that might have backfired. I'll probably have my front door knocked down by the strong arm of the Child Protection Agency at 5 in the morning. In my defence, can I just say that having a bunch of 4 going on 5-year-olds pumelling you into submission on a bouncy castle is immensely satisfying? Er, no I guess that isn't really defence. Well, in a last ditch attempt to clear my good name, if any employees of Cambridge Party Bouncers are looking, can I just point out that I didn't actually stand up or jump on the castle, I just let myself be pulled down.

Somehow, the UK has grown just a little bit less exciting now.

Of course, I should admit that I've never actually eaten at a Chilis (TGIF, yes, more often than I care to admit, but Chilis, not yet). I think they're obnoxious "Baby Back Rib" song of several years back with "barbecue sauce" sung as a basso profundo rejoinder has eternally soured me on the their corporate cuisine.

But as a good cultural relativist, well, whatever floats the UK's collective food boat will have to accepted by the likes of a foodie wannabe like myself.

I can tell you all from personal experience, they are splendid girls. Well-mannered and individual and fun. I'm already planning to marry two of my boys off to them.

Okay here's a picture of my new haircolor. No, you can't see it very well, can you? That's as much of me as I can bear to post!

from what I can see of it, SMM, I like it - very Autumn. The last time (well, actually the 2nd to last time) I colored my hair, it ended up this vaguely lavender color. I was going for platinum blonde, but my natural color really is just too dark. Got the lavender out, put on some darker blonde, and since by now my hair was just MUSH from all the chemicals, cut it all off. I liked the 'tipped' effect as it grew out, but haven't dared to try to recreate it. But I keep browsing that aisle at Walmart.......
