Sounds like heaven to me, but I hope Moz ain't heard the 'same song for 20 years' quote. Shame Hay is so far away. Would love t be there.

Bugger me if Norwich May 25 ain't the same night as the Champions League final (won't Elvis be a bit distracted if Liverpool make it?!?). Given that MU stand, as I write, at least a better chance than Arsenal (tee hee) of getting to the final, and given that I wouldn't want to miss it anyway, and given that my wife works on a Wed evening anyway, I decided to pass on UEA and instead go for the more appropriate Monday May 23 Leicester De Montfort gig. Anyone else gonna be there? If you're interested, and want to stand (an essential requisite for me, too much sitting down in London), you save several pounds on the DMH website compared to all other outlets, cos they all charge £4.70 for post for standing tickets, cos of paranoia over ticket-faking.

Jackson, up for this one? It's a bit of a classic venue, isn't it? Any comments on the atmosphere?

I take it all back, and Arse probably stand as good a chance of beating Bayern 2-0 at home as we do of winning 2-1 away, though we did of course do that against Inter.

Anyway, Leicester it is. Ticket arrived. Yay! Few things in the post can promise such pleasure.

Regarding the UK dates, I've got a ticket for Birmingham as it's a Sunday and a Bank Holiday weekend.

I'm going to wait until nearer the time and see if any other more Southerly dates are announced. If not then I'll try and get a ticket for Norwich and/or possibly Leicester/Nottingham.

Brum Symphony Hall, where the Doof and I saw him on the North tour. Very much a sit-down venue. Good place to really study the songs. Good acoustics, recently built. Am really looking forward to standing up, despite my ageing legs! Maybe see you in Leicester, my friend. Doof, how 'bout you? I bet you know the DMH.

Except it isn't it cos Norwich on the Wed is omitted, or has he cancelled that one in expectation of Liverpool being in the Champs League final?

I'm now coming to Leicester and have booked my standing ticket. We can arrange a meet up nearer the time Otis.

I'm giving Norwich and Nottingham a miss as they're a bit too far for me to drive back from on a school night.
