I heartily agree!! Just got round to those pix. I took my little guy to a beach in Connemara in August of '03.

Well it's a link to my fotolog as I can't get the photo to load.

OK, folks - here it is. Photo evidence of the first ever Antipodean EC Fan Forum Meet-up. Sorry about the photo guys, but it was taken about five pints into the evening I think. Tim(e) is the one giving us the hairy eyeball, bambooneedle is looking as dashing as usual, and I am the excessively well-fed one on the right. Somehow none of my photos contain Mrs. Sam (or Samantha as I will henceforth call her), but I believe that Tim(e) has photo evidence of her existence.

It was great fun meeting some more wonderful people from our little community. Hope I can do it again soon.

Does Tim(e) look a little like Randy Newman, or is that my imagination?

He does have a ponytail - you just can't see it in that photo.

I must say that I am flattered by the Randy Newman comparison (I think), and yes, there is a pony tail hidden behind that fat head of mine ;)

Here are a few more shots including one providing proof of the delightful Marna (Mrs WSS):

Bamboo - I love the fact that you were wearing an Everlast T shirt. Particularly apt after a good drinking session!

I got off to a good start as you can see! No, actually they were one ahead of me having gotten there earlier. Anyway, I think everyone's seen enough proof of our drinking in Sydney by now 8) .

Of course. What would a picnic be without a little watermelon wrestling?

It was a great evening, thanks to you and your lovely family! And it's boringball only because you've been hanging out with the wrong crowd! We got free loaves of bread as we were leaving on the night we went! Could anything be more exciting than that?
