Great shots!

But 'Declan'...the dark hair...the cool little gap between his front teeth...

Do we know his dad, by any chance?

(PS. and is it also a case of "All little brothers want to try out big brother's specs"?)

I wanna go to Pukkelpop!

For a band who are louder than Motorhead, how come you love such delicate music as the mighty Ron's? Do you also listen to ear splitting contemporary punk, or just play it? Is there any traceable influence of EC in your music?

Yeah I listen to all kinds of music, which of course is very expensive.

As well as being fast and loud, we're pretty melodic, so it shouldn't come as a shock that I'm into Elvis, or Ron for that matter.

We started playing and sorta found our sound a long time before I'd heard Elvis, and when I try to present some more complex chord structures/sequences/vocal melodies the others object a lot of the time, so I don't think there's any direct musical influence that's obvious to anyone listening. However, I think he's had an effect on my lyrics improving about five years ago. (I'm not saying they're good now, but they're certainly better)

I sent cosmos and noiseradio promo copies of the avatar record a few months ago for possible airplay/review but I'm not sure if they've listened yet. Maybe they'll find lots of stolen Elvis on there.

Until then, here's an unimaginative but favorable fanzine review (hey, he writes that my voice is "well-known (and liked)"...weirdo): http://www.theredseason.com/reviewtemplate.php?id=86

It's a genre I can't really get my head round, though I love the insane speed, and the drumming always makes me crack up. I imagine gigs for fans of this must be fabulous fun. I now fully appreciate your boardname. How do you do that to yourself on a regular basis?

Hmmmm, you are not trying to tell me that young Declan was a result of a "grudge" pregnancy, are you? That is, a certain person well known to this forum had it in for me while I was away

A photo of my little ones - Madeleine and Kieran - from this morning's Father's Day breakfast at their daycare center. Organized chaos and both talking my ear off, as usual! :)

Cuties! The breakfast involves a trip on Voyager? They're trying to tell you something...

No, each of the classes has a different name - Madeleine's a Voyager (4-5 year-olds) and Kieran is a grasshopper (age 2-3). Before that they were Munchkins and Honeybees.

Is it a footrace or are you running from a shark?

Very nice, deserted-looking beach. Reminds me of some of the beaches along the California coast between Santa Barbara and San Francisco.

So Lack's striding style reminds me of the old aspirin advert, "SoLdiEr oN wITh COdRal, sOLdiEr On..."

No doubt developed so he can maintain that certain beer connoiseur expert glass angle in combination.
