Mood: you're always listening to Jack Johnson, do you dig Where've All The Good People Gone, if that's the title? It's groovy! I'm playing it with a covers band for a party, has a great groove to play on the drums.

Good People is the sort of song that all the trendies think they're too cool to write, but it's really because they struggle to write something so instantly catchy and (deceptively) simple. You get the feeling it must've been around for a lot longer than it has been.
'boo speaks truth.
Like me, the "g" is silent.

It's a drummer's dream. It's a lovely groove. On the record it's a bit straight, so of course I funk it up with lots of little grace strokes on the snare, and a bit more dropping out on the bass drum to keep it elastic. It's funny cos we also play The Joker, and it's very similar as a groove.

Chrille,
I have that album on vinyl. I love it. Great production and playing from Johnny Winter. Have you heard the other Muddy album that Johnny Winter produced/played on, I'm Ready? It's supposed to be equally as good.

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.
If that's your first taste of Muddy Waters, I recommend grabbing some of his classic Chess stuff from the late 40s and early 50s next.
This one's a good, reasonably priced compilation of his Chess singles:

The Beatles At The Hollywood Bowl. That I downloaded from here: http://hesawhore.blogspot.com/ It's not available on CD apparently.
Otis - if you can play the drums like Ringo on Ticket To Ride I'd be most impressed, some of my favourite drumming ever.
