The Silver Jews album would have easily made my Top 10 last year.

Sorry, that's not bong bong. It's bop bop.

I'm not sure what I was thinking.

Keeps you groovy 24 hours a day, though. Kicks the Beatles right on out.

Makes its own sauce, too.

CC sickness

Post by A rope leash »

Man, this cat is draggin'. This is well into week two of the Cab Calloway disease, and I'm exhausted. I started with a couple of cheap CDs, then rented two DVDs. Man, that cat is boogin. He's the Alpha and the Omega of pop.

Anyway, I'm totally sore from movement. If I'm not dancing outright, some part of my body is twiddling along with the bop. I toss and turn at night, a jumble of jive bouncing around in my head like some sort of pop mill. And it's not just me...the whole household is infected. I sent the DVDs back, and I'm waiting on the Blues Brothers, which I will watch this weekend while getting ripped.

The only thing I can compare this affliction to is Ren and the Happy Hat.

Seriously, I'm beat back here, and I feel like I might be dying. If I do, gimme six crap-shooting pall bearers...

Other stuff

I got the new Pearl Jam, too. Sucks

My Flame Burns Blue very good.

Il Sogno, the best piece of music written at or near the millenuem.

He should get out of pop altogether, and create his own orchestra.

Or wait, no. He should start his own pop orchestra.

Elvis Costello and the Pretensions?

It lives up to its title. I'm repeating myself here, but I'd go for this over the over-production of Cupid and Psyche any day.
