What is that some sort of Google translation!!!????
Mind you....I'd be wary of eating there, cause just when you assume you aren't really going to be served the brother of something....poof....fingers and they say they told you on the menu!!!
Still......amazing what can happen when translators go bad.

Dating strippers; I've never done it but I'd be willing to give it that 'ol college try.

Just out of interest, how did you find this? (it's great by the way and will come in incredibly handy should I ever find myself in that position!)
Back to the thread, I have an extremely sore throat. I hope it doesn't affect my beer drinking later in the smoky old pub. Although I could give the pub a miss

I say 23 Skidoo! The old college try indeed!dating a stripper is no different than trying to debate Nietzsche with a Dalmation.
Preacher was a talkin' there's a sermon he gave,
He said every man's conscience is vile and depraved,
You cannot depend on it to be your guide
When it's you who must keep it satisfied

I sure hope you mean Puerto Rico, because whether or not the swallows are returning, San Juan Capistrano isn't worth a 3000 mile trip. Trust me on this. I mean, it's pretty and everything, but not Toronto-to-Orange County, CA pretty.

My God, they're forecasting - 20 C on Sunday night. It hasn't been so cold in Poland for about twenty five years.
As every Thursday, I'm spending the evening in front of the telly.
"Lost" followed by "Desperate Housewives" - isn't that good fun ?

Isn't it that cold every year? I recall it being about -16C in Berlin when I lived there, and I've always thought that was day, so night would have been a good -20, but perhaps I'm confused and that was the night temperature. I recall I had to make a phone call in a public phone box - near impossible. Two pairs of gloves, you faced the choice of hopeless fumbling, or getting stuck to the phone.invisible Pole wrote:My God, they're forecasting - 20 C on Sunday night. That sounds like too much compulsive TV series-viewing for one evening! Where are they up to in Polska? We've just ended Lost series 1 (and I ain't yet watched the last hour on video, a treat I'm saving for that special moment) and DH series 2 started last night - Wed at 10pm is now enshrined as the Channel 4 quality US series slot. I actually went off during the first ad break for half an hour, but then I had been in front of the telly all evening watching MU notching them up against Burton. I wasn't sure if I fancied more DH, though, maybe one series was enough. Then I came back in for the simply fabulous scene involving the hilarious Bree and her inability to accept the hideous tie her mom-in-law had chosen as suitable coffin-ware for her son, and I was hooked all over. Give me more! And what was that business with the man in the cellar of the new family? I reckon it's Zach's (step)dad - the hand was clearly white - and they've moved in as he committed some unspeakable crime against them and they're out for revenge. Then they had a trailer showing a black man bursting through the door and sending the tray flying, though apparently someone at work couldn't resist watching next week's on E4 and said that scene doesn't feature in it. All very intriguing.
There's more to life than books, you know, but not much more

Otis, I may have gone too far with the 25 years, but - 20 C is a rare thing these days, maybe except for some very east parts of Poland.
Lost - we are in series 1, three guys and a kid have just set off on a raft, the others are preparing for the inevitable coming of "them" (whoever they are). No spoilers, please.
DH - next week is the last episode of series 1. Me and my wife are enjoying it very much - a great mixture of comedy, twisted soap opera and a bit of suspense, and on top of that a great cast of characters (Bree is our fave one).
Do you remember how Susan asked Mike about his favourite band, and he replied, "Elvis Costello" ? Susan said, "It's a singer, not a band", and he said, "A singer with a band". Brilliant ! I knew from the start that Mike was a good guy !
