Ooh, Kerouac!
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

I have to assume that Roly has a minor role.

Pip! Micheal Moore?! Everyone else is a great artist, and I'm Micheal Moore?!

Ut!

Okay, I can see why. Good article in the Rolling Stone recently by Moore, all about GWB' s ties with the Bin Laden family. The bottom line is, the Saudis could pull their trillions out of our stock market, and refuse to sell us oil, and bring whole country down like they brought down the towers.

Fucked.

I really like the idea that I can be seen as both Solomon Burke AND Tom Wolfe.

I need help: Klinger? Kat Slater? (Not contesting them, just have no idea who these people are.)

Excited to be Vonnegut. Hi-ho.

Steve was played by Martin Kemp from Spandau Ballet, VG. He knocked-off his wife with an ashtray, sent thingymajig round the bend and tried to kill Phil Mitchell. A sexy baddie.

Big Mo is a lovable rogue, Mood.

*Out of all the soaps I only watch Eastenders so I'm not that sad.*

MBA - Kat Slater is about to be married to dodgy Andy but is still in love with Alfie.

I knew this was a bad idea!

Martin eh? Well I am a delinquent criminal youth with a gay lodger who used to be in Dads Army and an old-bag for a mum...or not. He does look a bit like me though.

A Rope Leash as rolie = stroke of purrrrre genius!!!

(Rolie was a much-loved poodle in the soap, that met his demise under the wheels of a juggernaut I believe)

I'm curious Pip...am I Salinger due to my recluse-like behavior?
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

Pip-Shakespeare?!? Sigh! That is the summit of literary perfection. Thank you.

Playthingorpet-I used to watch Eastenders before you were allowed probably. Is Lin Slater terribly wonderful? Or is ignorance bliss?

I'd like to, but my digital camera is sort of out of commission (no batteries). Basically, I'm dressed in black with bunny ears on. And I have a big fake fur coat for going outside (even though, with this freakish weather, I hardly need it).

A link for us clueless ones:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders/characters/index.shtml

After I read the character profile, I am thrilled, thrilled to be Ethel Skinner, especially the part about being a bit batty and having missed the war "under the influence of sedatives and gin". There's also that terminal disease thing ala Debra Winger.

Oily, how could you know that I always pictured myself as old Margaret?

Pip, TS Elliot must be one of the ones that don't make sense, because that would be too flattering!

Goody, maybe Pip is trying to tell you that you're a closet anti-Semite...

Yes, and a misogynist to boot, but I am inclined to overlook these faults and bask in the glory of being incomprehensible!

Good call on the Kafka -- many are the days when I find myself unable to get out of bed because I have turned into giant cockroach.

And here's a joke for Otis re: the author of "The Brothers Karamazov."

The Russians are coming out with a new automobile. It's called a Dostoyevsky.

It'll be available in a two-door and a Fyodor.

Wacca-wacca-wacca.

Walt Whitman? Thank you, Pip! I don't understand it, but I'm flattered nonetheless. 8)
