The Fratellis

I just saw a new release CD by a Glasgow band called The Fratellis. It caught my eye because it is entitled Costello Music. No connection to our man as far as I can find out, but hotly tipped as the next big thing.

This album is absolutely amazing. A bit in the vein of The Libertines and The Arctic Monkeys but with a touch of glam-rock. Great songs.

The only explanation given for the title is that if you play the album backward you will hear Elvis Costello music...

That's an interesting description. I think they're supporting Kasabian this winter. I was going to see them in Brighton until Billy Bragg decided to play there that night.
