It's good to see that this album will be relatively brief in terms of time. Presuming that the most well realised recordings have been selected this should help it have a more significant impact.

Excellent sleeve . I'm getting flashes of a similar Art Pepper cover ; I'll have a look this evening and report back!

'Tears...' being so early in the running order is a good move ; if it's anything like the Lee Dorsey recording it just has to catch attention.

'Six-Fingered Man' - a Spinal Tap ( via Princess Bride) reference?

ANCT - no I didn't miss it. I was referring to whether or not there was a DVD with the promo copy of River in Reverse.

My dilemma is...do I try and get hold of an advance copy of the CD or wait for the official release?

This Sunday I will be seeing the documentary (that I presume is the 'DVD') at the Full Frame Film Festival here in Durham.

You think that's a lot of F words? You should have heard me when gas went up to $2.63 just before my 1200 mile trip last week!

The Word feature , four pages incl. one full page photo, is comprehensive and complimentary. Based on an interview done on the day of the recent Joes Pub gig to launch 'Reverse it has little new to tell those of us who've been following things here. Some incidental details are of interest. The cover photo for the album appears to have been taken on the stage at the 'Pub. It was taken by Jimmy Katz , who has photographed Elvis before -

The only new piece of info. , to me anyway , is a reference , in a bio. note about Elvis' past collaborative efforts , to a 'unreleased' album with Bill Frisell ; what could that be referring to?

Otherwise this is a good intro. for the casual music fan.

Could they be referring to the 'Century of Song' project?

And there was a ref to an LP based on samples. WIWC? Ludicrous exaggeration if so. Nice article though. Elvis happier than ever with all this activity.
