Can’t wait! I’m curious about the theme - this could pass for a sequel to the Valentine’s Day show…sweetest punch wrote:Songs announced for tonight are:

Re: Elvis & Steve Nieve GRAMERCY NYC February 16, 2023
I arrived in NY last night. A crazy 2.5 hour queue to get through passport control despite it being streamlined.
Still had time to wander down to the Gramercy Theatre from the hotel and check if it actually was a 4 minute walk. Thankfully it is and, of course, the place was in darkness despite only being 8pm.
Just drying off in the hotel now having been caught in a downpour while walking around.
I’ll give it a couple of hours before setting off for tonight’s show

You were unlucky with passport control- we also came over from UK and it took under 30 minutes. Maybe see you at the Gramercy in a bit!

Amazing, amazing show. Well worth the flights and more!

I travel nearly 4000 miles and still get to hear him badmouth Norwich (yet again). Anyway what are next week’s lottery numbers, Offshorearm? Tiny Steps was a freakishly accurate prediction!Offshoreram wrote:Good to meet you tonight Fishfinger King. So jealous of this particular setlist! Glad to see EC can still dish out a decent GGMS, the last time he played it... not so good.

Exactly!! I was wary seeing it on the set list but he nailed it last night. It was a night of predominantly big filmic ballads, all rendered superbly. However, I still enjoyed Waiting For The End Of The World the most! You can take the boy out of 1977, but….clowntimeisover wrote:So jealous of this particular setlist! Great that PLU can still excite after all the times we’ve heard it - Steve should do more vocals and the two keyboards were great.
