Is that Lisa's saxophone? Because I don't think Elvis owns one.
It's actually Bleeding Gums Murphy's saxophone, but your basic point is correct.

I saw Diana play Beacon Theater last night. (Sat 5 rows behind Steve Buscemi, Tom Hanks and Renee Fleming - yes, all in the same row - do NYC celebs move in packs?)

She had the EC action figure sitting on her Steinway. Didn't see it from my angle but at one point she mentioned it was there and that she needed to take better care of him because she "lost the glasses and the hat fell off in that last tune".

Thanks John again for posting on social media that his Elvis figure had arrived. Mine arrived while I was on holiday and is currently sitting in the local sorting office.

This has been a bit of a prolonged saga.

I got confirmation yesterday that the figure had been finally dispatched having placed the order back in January.

The strange thing was Forbidden Planet emailed me last week to make sure I still wanted it due to the date of the original order?

The next question is do I take it out of the packaging? I think I'd like it assembled and I'm not looking to try and 'cash in' in the future.

I wonder if Elvis would sign it on the next tour?

Yes, Sulky , bound volumes of ECIS' - still a vital resource. I regularly dip into them , usually to check something and end up getting distracted and reading for ages.

Mine arrived. I took it to work with the intention of adding it to the 'Costello Corner' of my desk. Things didn't turn out as planned when I took 'him' out of the packaging. The person responsible for adding the eyes to my Elvis had very obviously had one of those mornings after the night before when they did so. I have a squinty Elvis. A very evil looking, squinty Elvis actually  . I tolerated him staring at me from his assigned corner until 10:30 but then had to turn him to face the wall as he was giving me the willies. He is going back in the packaging tomorrow.

Are they all like this, or did I get a dud?

These are mine. One still in the packaging and one for standing on my desk. The eyes don't look too bad?

Although I did have to glue the glasses, hat and guitar in place...

I'd love to post a photo but can't work out how to do it.....technology isn't my forte I'm afraid  Looking at Offshorerams pic, I think my Elvis is squintier than the one in the packaging. I think I've been had.
