Simply stunned at how many unsold tickets there are for this show. So much so that I managed to get good fifth row seats when I logged on last night (felt I had to bolster the numbers). Hope empty seats won't dampen the band's enthusiasm...

GOOD GOD MAN; of course it is!! listen, i am as obsessed as the next guy here...but EIGHT in a two week span is just NUTS! yes, if i could see four in a week and another four 2-3 months later, FINE! i recently got into a little battle at backstreets (SPRINGSTEEN site); where some LOON attempted to enumerate in order of performance quality his THIRTY Wrecking Ball tour shows!!!! you've GOTTA have your head examined. additionally, he was obviously bragging at being wealthy enough to chase the band around Europe...NOT nice. yes, i've seen Bruce sixty times, beginning in 1976 and went to as many as ELEVEN shows on the reunion tour (thinking it might have been the LAST ever E STREET shows!) and at that, it was because i was still unmarried and going down to MSG most of the last ten night stand without a ticket and getting in for $20-$30! for that price, why stay home? and i was lucky enough to get to EC for the five nights on Broadway in both 1986 and again in 1995. the sheer variety of 1986 was incredible and worth every penny while similarly in 1995, scoring low price tickets and possible LAST Attractions shows made it all valid for me. but, as much as i love being at each of their shows, i much prefer to limit my nights within short periods to small numbers. i will NOT allow it to become mundane to me by OVERDOING it that way. yes, i'll miss a different song or seven...but, if God wants, i'll catch it down the road. with all that said...NOW, I WANT A ELVIS OR BRUCE SHOW SOON IN AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe me BA, if I could go to more shows then I would. There were at least 4 that I could have fine in a day and a few where I could wrangle work trips.

I've just about wormed my way back into Mrs VGs' good books having taken her out to dinner on Friday. spent a lovely day with the kids yesterday and then going to a Christening today. I didn't fancy spoiling it! Given the setlist for Sheffield I'm not too disappointed although I bet they pull out some crackers tonight just so that I have regrets about not biting the bullet

I believe so!

I didn't take a good look at the pic posted above until now, but I now see there's a new "Lips" jackpot between "Chelsea" and "Country Darkness."

So "Lipstick Vogue," "Lip Service," "Button My Lip"... What else?

Setlist is missing After the Fall, which he played on account of Milton Keynes' reputation for deviant sex, or something. And yes Invisible Man was indeed just Elvis & Steve. It was a blinding night. Eclectic setlist compared with other nights. Sound much, much, much better than the Albert Hall. Well worth the drive. A good last-minute decision to go, I reckon.

And you did see him play "I Turn Around" in Amsterdam not long ago; which kind of became "The Invisible Man".

Is this on top of putting all the shows I've seen so far on dime, BA. I wish I had the time. I've been meaning to do the list of concerts attended, I have a rough sketch and I know I did my 100th last year at Manchester I think Once Mrs Sulky and I are established in Devon, I'll get onto making a list. My ambition now is to see him in the United States, maybe a 3 night stint in N.Y. with The Roots and that would cover VG's 50th birthday present
