MOOT, so sorry to hear about your friend. Terrible news - the anguish of those who were made to feel life wasn't worth living, and their loved ones left behind - for no reason apart from thick people bullying others through total ignorance and mob mentality over something they don't even understand - a schoolyard prejudice they will probably actually grow out of a few years hence.

Middle-aged, embarrassed banter was what I was talking about, but teenage boys' fear of being branded gay is far worse, leading to murders and suicides. Being 'cool' is a life or death matter to some teenagers. The more these kids can be made to see that gay is no big deal, just as being straight is no big deal, the better.

We all have one - and only one - life, so let's get on with enjoying it, rather than spending that precious time ruining other people's one-and-only life.
