Happy Birthday to Sulky Lad

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Happy Birthday to Sulky Lad

Ah 52- what a great age- hope you have a great day! And to think you share it with Lennon.

Happy birthday mate.

I'll buy you a beer next week.

And to think you share your birthday with someone more important than Lennon...!

Thank you, one and all - I spent the weekend near my home village in Devon - still trying to find a way to return.Of course, being in the Midlands means I can get to most EC concerts wherever in the UK and get home in time for a few hours sleep before work but the call home is definitely getting stronger.
Coincidentally, as I'm sure I've mentioned before, apart from me sharing a birthday with JL and miniVG1 my family have famous birthday connections - my brother 9th August with Pete Thomas (if I recall rightly ) and my church organist father with Liberace ( not too little in common there !!)

If Mini VG2 had held out for (yet) another week then my children would have Bern born on the same days as you and your brother!

A solid cheer[and a robust one, as well] to one of the better things to have emerged from Devon outside of Mr Hardy and my wife's puckish Rex. Happy Birthday to you and to the little one who shares this calendar day. If the weather is like here this is a day to bottle and savor. And not to forget, unless I am mistaken, you share this day with a personal hero, Mr. Lennon who would have been 71 today.

Happy Birthday! one year late and one day late, respectively. I'm thinking of taking the bi-annual approach to mine. Or maybe the bi-decade.

Many thanks to all, I note from the top of the page I mentioned a desire to return to my roots which has now become a reality. How much can change in 12 months !! All I need is A Songbook tour for the UK to be announced when I can't get to (m)any !! from my south west roots. VG wrote
