Thank you for sharing that piece. Most enlightening. Loved, particularly, his discussion of the lack nowadays of critical comment on song content. A most intelligent interview. Also loved that your link lead to a fun interview with the author of Swamplandia!, Karen Russell. Dekalb, huh! My grandmother resides there. Fond memories of nights at The Egyptian but too flat for me with those endless vistas of cornfields converging at road intersections just outside of town. Also, I believe, the childhood home of Cindy Crawford.
