Hear clips from the Hans Andersen opera

Hit "Listen again to this show" on this page http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/arts/ to hear music from the Hans Andersen opera. There's a whole piece on it, about ten mins from the end of the show. Came home pissed from the pub, put the radio on, and there it was!

First impressions were, I wish Elvis had let an opera singer sing the stuff, to be honest.

Also about three-quarters of the way throught the show they play "Who Are These People" from the Burt Bacharach album - though to be honest, I wasn't at all impressed! There's an interview with Bacharach too.

As ever with the BBC website, you can only listen for seven days after the original broadcast, for royalties reasons I guess.

Thanks, Neil. Agree with you about the Bacharach song, doesn't grab me at all. The opera stuff sounds promising, I'm sure it will be worth checking out, like Il Sogno.
