Mission Statement

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Mission Statement

Post by Kissy Monster »

Amigas and amigos! (Ladies first!) Howdy! I am motivated by love for the music of Elvin Costello and another kind of love for Rosie O'
Donald. I hope to share my knowledge with y'all.

Rosie is quite simply the perfect woman. I baked her a cake and tried to deliver it to her on her birthday but was prevented by nefarious security guards. I told them they were thwarting true love. I believe in speaking truth to power. But I think Rosie heard me call her name from underneath her willow.

My favorite Elvis Contello songs are "Town Called Big Notting" (from the Notting Hill soundtrack) and "Dr. Spooky's Assistant" (where our beloved moderator got his name). EC shares a first name with another famous singer, Elvis Crespo.

Yes, they're related by first name! It is a rare and wondrous marvel of nature!

Leave it to you to make a film reference, of sorts.

Or he'll show you his claw.

I could have mentioned Elvis Schmidekamp, but I think only So. Californians would get that....

That was when Elvis had legal troubles.
