Also...

An extra verse on the end of TDM, which I've just googled, from a song called 'The Railroad Boy'...

Her father he came home from work
saying "where’s my daughter? She seems so hurt"
He went upstairs to give her hope
and found her hanging by the end of a rope

He took a knife and he cut her down,
And on her body these words he found

"Go dig my grave both wide and deep
Place a marble stone at my head and feet
And by my breast place a show white dove
To show the world I died for love."

Also...

A line from 'Yer Blues' to finish off Needle Time...('Feel so suicidal even hate my rock and roll')

Also...

Different lyrics in the chorus of 'Human Hands'....(Whenever the money runs out and the drugs wear off..' or something...)

Also...

Someone shouted out 'did you see the match last week?' to which EC replied 'I was otherwise engaged....or at least I was supposed to be...'

Incredible show as always...Only sad thing for me was I was way over to the left, and couldn't see Professor Nieve at all...

Also, some light hearted moments -

- a cheeky chappy shouted out "Did you see the match last week?" to which came the reply "No I was otherwise engaged";
- then, a woman shouted "Let's be 'avin' yer!", Elvis smiled and said "Don't you try and start something";
- Later someone called for "You'll never walk alone", that also raised a smile;
- during Good Year For the Roses he seemed to forget the words, until a chap shouted out "After 3 full years of marriage". Said chap got a thank you afterwards;
- a number of persons kept chanting 'Elvis! Elvis! Elvis!' between songs, one lad even shouted out 'Elvis I love you!';
- during the 'sing a long' in You Really Got a Hold on Me he was encouraging us to hold the last note of Hold on Meeee, and said "Just imagine your waiting for Patric Kluivert to score".

First Born and boyfriend were mightily impressed (although she was disappointed not to hear Red Shoes).

All in all - magic!

True enough...no matter how good it is, you always walk home going...'aah, he didn't play this, I wanted him to play that...'

P.S.I remember a bit of a Blues Brothers instrumental at the end of 'I can't stand up...', But I don't know the name of it...

Completely out of the blue, I was there as well...great gig! Highlights were King Horse, the alt. version of Human Hands and the additional bit on TDM.
The banter was spot on as well...with some proper sweary words and all! Ace!

Would that Blues Brothers instrumental bit be "I Just Can't Turn You Loose" by any chance? (I love it)
