I always prefered it cold, though Daniel, my cockney footballer neighbor swore that it could cure any illness when served hot.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Having coffee in a spare half-hour between volunteering in my son's classroom and doing work... and hoping the day will bring me something remotely cheerful.

Socks is feeling better today (purring rather than growling), but will have to keep the catheter in another day. He should be good to go tomorrow.

You know, this whole cat story is starting to remind me of Doc's grandmother. She is in a nursing home now with Alzheimers, but before she went there she started peeing in wicker trashcans around the house.
I'm so afraid to be old.

and I should add, I did wonder if he was sending off some obscure facts to be checked by the Foyles - are they working both sides of the Elvis coin?

I should also add that, in the grand tradition of this board, I wouldn't know diddly about Elliott Smith if it weren't for the Lovely Ms. Pip 52.

Nothing bad has happened to me today. So far. It's early, though.

How'd it turn out, Goody?
Finally, a day off. I've missed the passed three days of school... my sleep-clock is way off.

Jessica just told me she got asked out today for the first time.
She also mentioned going the wrong way down the hall to class after it happened.
Doc said he suddenly feels much older.

I just got back from an advanced screening of The Assassination of Richard Nixon starring Sean Penn. Superb. Followed that with dinner at the Ethiopian House (a Toronto favourite of Woody Harrellson). Also superb.
A superb evening all around!
