Let's vote for Costello's worst effort.

Pretty self-explanatory

God's comic is worth any album, and everyone should give Almost Blue a second (or third) go
I'm not buying my share of souvenirs

Bought it, huh? Taking a peek at your Soulseek list, it appears that you have not bought one Elvis Costello album in your life. How does it feel to be stealing from your favorite musician?

I have it purchased and ripped.

I own every single Rhino reissue, all of which purchased- so watch your tone.
(i've also purchased "king of america", "out of our idiot", "tear off your own head"(single)).

Also, "Almost Blue" is one of my favorite Elvis cds, I can't wait for the reissue.

Even if you did purchase it (which I highly doubt you did, notice the .nfo/.sfv files?), you're still spreading the files so others can steal Elvis Costello's music. It's one thing to share a few files, it's another to put every single album up in it's entirety, in great quality.

Who knows if those are even your cd's in the pictures anyway. Your pictures mean nothing.

I downloaded them that way.

I don't need to prove anything to you. You don't exist to me. I purchased the albums to listen to- and I love them... I did not buy them to impress you.

I will spread Elvis's music forever. Get over it. Go back into hiding, little man.

Haha, I have yet to have that problem. I have heard about people going through that though. "Girl Out Of Time", a poster on here, PM'ed me about Soulseek issues.

I downloaded them that way.
Right. I'm sure all legally purchased albums come with an NFO file created by a hacking group.
I don't need to prove anything to you.
You couldn't anyways.
You don't exist to me.
This is all a dream.
I did not buy them to impress you.
Seems like you didn't even buy them at all! Stealing the albums by downloading them on a P2P network isn't what I call buying and waiting in queue is not like waiting in a line.
I will spread Elvis's music forever.
Not if the RIAA gets a hold of you.

Haha, Branst. I downloaded them with those NFO things. My downloaded versions are not the cds I bought, I downloaded those before I bought the cds.

And, those are my cds in the picture, you idiot.

Er.....this is what Robert McNamara might call a good old-fashioned quagmire. Let's move on!

Although there are a few E.C. albums I do not own yet (Almost Blue, Kojak Variety) I fall into the "It's all relative" camp. A weak Costello record is still a damn fine record. If you can put out an album featuring classics such as Shipbuilding and Pills & Soap and people consider that one of your lesser works then you have done pretty friggin' well for yourself.

I would have to nominate The Juliet Letters as the weakest Costello album. It's not that I think it's bad, it's just one that I rarely go back to. When I do, I usually skip straight to This Offer Is Unrepeatable and/or The Birds Will Still Be Singing. A completely honorable undertaking that just doesn't wear well over repeated listenings. But that's just me.

Real Elvis:
"Goodbye Cruel World"

Other Elvis [the legacy-maker/minstrel in the gallery/genre bender]:
"Juliet Letters"

Modern Elvis:
"Cruel Smile"
"The smarter mysteries are hidden in the light" - Jean Giono (1895-1970)

No official rules. I demonstrated a remarkable bias by using the phrase "Real Elvis" to stand in for the better alternative - " Classic Elvis"

I am a big Elvis Costello fan. I am a huge fan of what I think of as Classic Elvis. For me, Classic Elvis is MAIT, TYM, AF, GH, Trust, IB, PTC, B&C, Out of Our Idiot, Girls, Girls, Girls Compilation.

Worldly Minstrel/Mold Breaker/Out of Box genre Bender Elvis: Almost Blue, Juliet Letters, Painted from Memory, Sophie Anne Van Otter, Costello/Nieve Live Box, maybe North, eventually, as history dictates.

Modern Elvis: MLAR, BY, ATUB, WIWC, CS, North (maybe, see above)

The problem with categories:
GCW, KOA, Spike, Live @ El Mocambo.
"The smarter mysteries are hidden in the light" - Jean Giono (1895-1970)

Hah, I like "Real" Elvis better than "Classic" Elvis... as far as phrasing is concerned.
