Indeed, well done, I'm hugely impressed, never mind educated. Look forward to your question.

The poor man died after doing some heroin with the street name of Red Rum. This fact sticked in my mind because a great race horse had the same name.

Ok, this may be too easy, but here it goes....
On their 1981 U.S. tour, the Rolling Stones' opening act was booed off the stage nightly. One show early on in the tour, someone in the audience threw a Jack Daniels bottle at the then-unknown act. After that show, the act quit the tour and booked the first flight home. It took a personal phone call from Mick Jagger to get the act to finish the tour. Who is it?

Haven't a clue, I only know the full band Quarrymen name. Er, John 'n' Paul?
Well I never knew the Boy George one, how bizarre. I choke on my large slice of humble pie, washed down with Perroni beer, and offer profuse and heartfelt apologies to the triviameistress that is Gillibeanz,

I did the same and agree, it truly is an obscure fact. This thread is proving to be very informative, if not educational.Tim(e) wrote:I just gave up and Googled to satisfy my curiosity... and I have to say that there is absolutely no way that anyone will get the anser to your question Dr J (well, at least without googling)DrJ wrote:Nobody's right yet.

Does that big goofy Magical Mystery Tour bus go by your place? I have to admit, I laughed like a drain when I saw it myself... This week I edited my Liverpool footage into a movie that I might eventually post somewhere.

T'was a good day out. I think we're going off the point.
