You mean I actually got something right? Well I'm sure Gilli will be happy with official Foylean confirmation, so:
Which musician connects two of my musical heroes: 'Green' Gartside, aka Scritti Politti and Lloyd Cole? No cheating on Google now, that's no fun...

Dr J: lovely though it is to see you here after what appears to be an absence, and even lovelier to chuckle at the fact that you know my endless references to Postcard well enough to hazard that as a suitable guess, I have to be rude and tell you to read the bleedin' question! I'm after a musician, not a label.
Doofster: good try, but totally wrong. Not a Commotions person at all.
OK, let's get all the clues over at once. MF isn't allowed to answer cos he was too impatient to know it and went straight to Google and PMed me the correct result. I reckon he might have got it with these.
The person in question is a drummer. He did all the heavily treated stuff on the Scritti Cupid and Psyche stuff, and was a mainstay drummer with Lloyd on his early solo work. He's NY based and has played on at least one Lou Reed LP. I like because he seems to be incredibly diverse in terms of the sound and style according to the LP he's on.
Surely someone will nab this point?

OK, it gets boring after while, I guess you're all out partying. Fred Maher.
New alternative: which musician links Station To Station with the E Street Band?
Now this you can get without looking up, for sure.
Don't Americans do trivia quizzes? Australians? Canadians? Argentinians?
