I tend to go for the Mick Taylor era Stones, though I do enjoy a lot of their early Brian Jones era stuff as well. With the addition of Ron Wood is when it starts to get spotty, but I really enjoy Some Girls.

Tattoo You is the most underrated (of the ones I own, which are most of them). I'm glad you asked.
It's a great album if you manage to get used to Neighbours and hear it in context -- as a. a raucous nerve rattler for before settling into the brilliant Side 2 -- Worried About You, Tops, Heaven (best song on the album), No Use In Crying and Waiting On A Friend. Just as good on side 1 are Slave and Hang Fire... Jagger is in top form, and the album doesn't seem to sound dated at all thanks to straightforward production. Been playing it in the car (Virgin reissue) so have been re-evaluating it, having had the LP for ages collecting dust. I doubt I'll get tired of the twin guitar rocking on Start Me Up or Keith's singing on T&A. Even Black Limousine with its mock bluesiness has grown on me.
