Elvis In San Francisco on March 11th -- Free Ticket!

Post by God's Comic »

I'm new to this group.
I Live in Chico, CA, and am looking for a young woman who lives near here and loves Elvis to go to the show with me.
I'm a young (22) college guy, and I don't know many people around here. I'd really like to meet a fellow (female) Elvis fan to befriend.
If this description fits you (young female elvis fan who lives near chico), then I'd love to have you come along to see the concert in SF with me.

Thanks,
Brennan (AIM: Dolemitesprint)

Hey, the offer is still on the table!
Aren't there any young Elvis-lovin' ladies in Northern California???

Leave your offer via a message at the dianna krall website, and I'll bet you have more than one candidate to choose from.

Frankly, I am shocked that the offer is still on the table. If you can't move the ticket by giving it away, and you consider selling it, keep me in mind.

At double the specified age and sporty in very definite (and I might add, quite virile) Y chromosome, I'm sure any attempts to masquerade as a candidate would be dismal.

Best of luck to you, Master Comic.

Still Available!!!

I guess we just don't have a big enough base in the Bay Area.

Well, though the offer is still up for grabs, I think I'll be able to get a date for the show -- I just don't know if they'll APPRECIATE the show as much as one of our groupies would.

if craigslist did not work, try tribe.net or friendster.. you can search on costello interests.. there are about 24 die-hard fans in the bay area, and the rest are mildly interested.. and since EC is in town 1 or two times per year, there is not that much demand. It is unfortunately why (could be) that "hits" from the "pop star" era are included, and the set list is not varied as much as in the "spin the wheel" days.

Okay. I didn't do craigslist before because I had never heard of it. I found it easily enough now, and I just posted it the list. Lets see what happens now.

Thanks

That was a red herring. Megan got back to me, and she said that she was unable to go to the concert. Something had come up for the day of the show, and it would not be possible.

Offer is back on the table!

Something came up?

C'mon - Marcia used this to dump Charlie and go out with the team quarterback - however, Marcia gets hit in the face with a football, her nose gets really swollen - and then the qb dumps her - using the same "something suddenly came up" excuse. She ends up back with Charlie and she lets him get to second base - everyone's happy.

Damn that Megan. She almost had me wanting to take her to the show.
Everyone just needs to fuckin’ relax. Smoke more weed, the world is ending.

another false lead.
Lisa basically said that she's too old for me, and she got a ticket on her own.

You're all doing a good job of being on the lookout for me, and I appreciate it.
This process is king of fun.

she said mid-30's, but the point was that I wasn't going to get to use my used ticket because she sounded like she already had another one in hand.
I feel we're getting very close to finding a winner soon.

Ooh, this is exciting.

But I must confess to this much. If I were a single woman in my 30s, I wouldn't consider you too young to enjoy an Elvis concert with.

Hey all.
Still haven't found anyone who wants the ticket and can make the show.
I guess I'll sell it for 50 to whoever wants it. I'll be a good person to sit next to. We can carry on knowledgable conversations and such.

Attractive Woman Seeking Male date for Elvis Costello this Thurs?

Men do this all the time, so I figured why not women? My date cancelled at the last minute and most of my girl friends are either busy or honestly don?t care for Elvis enough to sit through his concert with me, so I?d rather take someone who does. I?m an attractive, fit, funny, single woman who is seeking someone I can enjoy this concert with...no strings attached! My only pre-requisite is that you hold the same qualities as I(attractive, fit, funny and single)and that you buy me a drink for the free ticket. Fair enough? If you meet the criteria, please email me back with a little about yourself and a photo. Thanks and good luck!
