How cold is it where you are?
How cold is it where you are?
I never thought I'd stay home because of the outdoor temperature, but it's so cold here today that there have been warnings issued.
The current temperature here in Toronto is -5 F (-21 C), but with the windchill it apparently feels like -25 F (-32 C).
What does it feel like when it's that cold? I hope not to find that out.

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Just warm enough for all the rain that came to not be snow - about 34F. Not too bad, although they had predicted some "wintry mix", which usually sends our little southern town all a flutter to the grocery store for milk and bread. Instead, we just have a cold, rainy day with gray skies. Blah.

Did you sing a duet of Baby It's Cold Outside?miss buenos aires wrote:My boyfriend said it was too cold for me to leave his house last night.
And how did you come to "reluctantly" agree? I have my suspicions...
I was hoping this thread would hotten things up a bit as it's about 4 degrees C outside with a nasty wind. The weather forecast doesn't look promising for the weekend and I'm playing football on Sunday. It is never acceptable in Sunday football to wear gloves!
Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?
It's a balmy 12' F. here in Boston, but the sun is shining and the wind's not bad. It was 7 when I woke up.
I guess I am a sicko, but I feel disappointed when the winter doesn't produce a few days of single digits, and at least one at or below zero (less common). It just scratches a particular itch I have...

I'm supposed to be going out tonight as well, but walking round pubs dressed like Scott of the Antarctic isn't exactly the done thing...guess we'll have to CHILL OUT somewhere else!
