i don't have, and have never heard, Almost Blue and Goodbye Cruel World.
(uh, and i haven't heard KOA either. keep looking for it in the used cd store, but no luck as yet. refuse to pay full price for it.)

I agree LTZ. I've always loved Almost Blue, short and sweet. Not sure how many copies of KV and GCW he's likely to shift. I can't understand why KOA would be left until last as it is surely one of his best?

Here's hoping that KOA is being saved for last in order to receive the royal treatment. . .3-disk set - the album, a live-disk with the Confederates and a 3rd disk of extras?!!!!????!!!!

Oh, sure. . .!
Let's make it a 10 disk set with rehearsal video footage, 3 live shows from 3 separate nights of the Costello Sings Again Tour, a live video tour of Mary Costello's Choka-Doobie club on the night Elvis debuted most of the KOA material, as well as a separate CD of audio interviews with Jerry Scheff, James Burton and Ron Tutt, who all tell stories about how much greater EC was compared to the "other" Elvis.
It could happen!

Does this mean that for all denizens of North America they're out in may or june?
Why do they release them in the EU first? Surely it just adds to the piracy problem...............
