have made the cut:

What about Elvis Costello busking outside the Sony
Worldwide convention in London in 1976? It was the
idea of Jake Riviera at Stiff, and Elvis got arrested
for making a disturbance. Muggins got asked to get
Elvis out on bail, as Stiff's general manager. Elvis
eventually signed to Sony and the rest, as they say,
is history.

Yeah I saw that, is that bloke referring to himself...cos EC said that he didn't get bail as he didn't have any money, and had to request time to pay! In the liner notes for TYM....
