Wow, indeed! Those guys sound really great together! The whole thing was good--even the interview. Stephen must be a bit of a fan, since he whipped out a quote form "Tokyo Storm Warning". That's a song from a long time ago with a lot of words.

The performances were awesome. The interview was a little shaky, I felt. I don't think our boy was quite prepared for the Colbert grilling.

Colbert's challenge to him about Israel was suprising. It was done in jest, sort of, in that Colbert way, but EC never really answered him. Not that anyone really considers him a protest singer, of course, but he chose to not engage in that particular topic as to avoid any more controversy.

Man, Stephen is obviously a huge EC fan. You can tell how gleeful he was that not only was EC gonna be performing a song on his show, but that he was gonna be singing an additional song with him. Just look at his face at the conclusion of the interview as it goes into commercial.

Yeah I agree our boy wasn't ready for Colbert to hit him with examinations like that, but still he did would I probably would have done to Elvis, whipped a quote at him from long ago.
