Court Yard Hounds debut
Tuesday, May 4, 2010 – Two-thirds of the Dixie Chicks release a new disc today......
The Court Yard Hounds are Margie Maguire and Emily Robison, who are Dixie Chicks in their other lives. The self-titled disc (Columbia) features both sisters on vocals and goes for a Sheryl Crow rootsy vibe. Elvis Costello sings backing harmonies on one track. The Hounds will be part of this summer's Lilith tour.

Anyone know where EC is? The Hounds are scheduled to appear on Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday night. Maybe a guest appearance like he did with Jenny Lewis?
Though looking at other reviews and articles, the only guest on the album seems to be Jakob Dylan, not EC.

EC isn't credited in the album insert and I can't detect his presence on any of the tracks, so I think this one's BS. Shame, though, he'd fit right in on this record. The Jakob Dylan duet is wonderful.
