Wow, this makes up for the disappointing Colbert appearance. A little "Long Journey Home" and a great High Fidelity circa 1979. Excellent performance!!

Elvis was looking and sounding good, but Jimmy Fallon is a major douche bag. I can't believe a major network gave him a talk show. He bites the big one in so many ways and is an embarrassment to all the kings of late night - Dick Cavett, Johnny Carson, Dave Letterman, and Conan. They should fire him and hire Spike Feresten.

Aren't most Friday editions of U.S. tv chat shows taped earlier in the week? If so, the Fallon show would most likely have predated the Colbert one.

Some shows do that (Letterman especially), but in this case EC mentioned his voice trouble in the Colbert appearance during the Fallon interview.

Filmed one day after the Colbert shoot, according to the on-air interview. Interesting version of High Fidelity and similar, as someone already mentioned, to the original Armed Funk version. Nice to hear EC adding some new luster to the old tunes.

Thanks for the link Scielle. I registered & downloaded, hopefully this link will continue to prove handy.

Re the show, Elvis begins to confirm that the Springsteen Spectacle will be a 2 hour show (a double episode that's been speculated here before) Fallon is speaking over him at the time, so he doesn´t elaborate further.

With such lengthy recording times, (4 hours for Springsteen) it seems, as always with Elvis, there will be tons of stuff that won´t appear even as extras on any future release.
