Malta Festival Poland June 28, 2008 TV Broadcast

Hi all
EC's performance in Poland this past June was televised in two parts there, and fellow Forum member Invisible Pole was industrious enough to record the broadcasts and kind enough to send me a copy so that I might help bring this show to EC fans around the globe.

So, I would like to offer DVDs to the first eight people who contact me, off-line, at mredance@aim.com, and who will promise to make a similar offer to at least three other folks once they have their copy in hand...to try to get this out to as many folks as possible.

I can send this in NTSC or PAL, so tell me which you want. The PAL discs will be exact duplicates of what I have, the NTSC will be edited down to eliminate programming before and after. I am not going to edit out the two or three songs that are repeated in the second broadcast, so as to not interrupt the continuity of the telecast.

Got our PAL copy today, many thanks. Recorded the audio and it should be all torrented eventually. For now here's a mp3 of Shipbuilding.

I received my copy today. Very good sound and vision for a copy of a VHS tape.

It's been a bit quiet lately on this part of the forum...

Nevermind..pleased to say I can now re/offer this show (as promised ) to the first 3 people to answer this question correctly.

What is the man's first name?

Afraid It's only 3 copies but I'll consider sending more for trade. I'm particurlarly interested in TV appearances...
Thanks again to Invisible Pole and Fave Hour for making this available.

NB The show is on 2 DVDs, from 2 separate Polish TV broadcasts. On each disc there's a good 40 or 50 min.
I don't know how to edit out the ads or put them on to 1 disc so I'll copy and send them just as I received them.

Have finally managed to reauthor, and also make an NTSC version. So, if there are folks hereabouts who would like a single disc version, PAL or NTSC, please drop me a line.

The yellow paper glasses were given to the audience before the show.
I've still got them somewhere, I suppose.

On the other hand, the cameraman/tv editor/director definitely exaggerated with the "view through the glasses".
