Returning last night from Prague it was nice to see a few packages piled up. It's all terribly calculating , I'm afraid. I send out a few Amazon links to the family and they send the stuff. Therefore , I look forward to reading new books by Alan Furst and John Sandford , amongst others. Birthday festivities will wait 'til the weekend, coinciding with the Leonard Cohen shows. Today I had the more mundane task of catching up with a weeks worth of paperwork etc..
